Benefits
It is twice as active its isomers of Firsr & Second Generation Quinolons. It is one of the so called respiratory Quinolon.
It is effective against number of Gram(-) tive, Gram(+)tive anaerobic bacteria & mycoplasma.
It is currently the only respiratory quinlon approved by USFDA for the treatment of Pneumonia.
Peak plasma level is observed in hours and drug Level above MIC 90 in plasma is maintained for more than 12hrs.
Dosage & Administration
Cattle Buffalo
4-5 mg/kg body Weight
In Severs Cases the dose may be increased up to 10mg Per K.G. body weight.
